[attr="class","rules"] LIBRARY GUIDLINES
(01) You need references from two players to make a thread in the library. Both references should come from Quest Reports.
(02) Every topic should get its own thread, like an encyclopedia article. Please write with a neutral and objective tone of voice, like on Wikipedia.
(03) All information in the library must have a source. Do NOT make up stuff without a source. If it hasn't been reported yet, don't add it. Imagine yourself as an NPC receptionist whose job is to summarize quest reports.
(04) Link or quote the Quest Report(s) that serve as the source for any information that you write. Citations are required in the library!
(05) Reply to a thread to update any new information. Only one source is needed to update an old entry. Tag a staff member to get the OP updated.
(06) Try to resolve conflicting information so both witness accounts are true. For example, some goblin tribes might be nice, whereas others are mean.
(07) For unresolvable conflicts, we use majority rule. If a majority of reports say the Sun is yellow, and one report says it is blue... follow the majority.
(08) For contentious information with equally diverging accounts, it is best to write with statements like: "There is controversy over..."
(09) It's 100% okay to express uncertainty in library articles. For example: "It is unknown if..." or "It is unclear whether..."
