Himekawa Maki is a digidestined. That is, she is a partner with a monster made of data called digimon. Her partner, bakumon was sacrificed during the final battle against the dark masters by Homeostasis, the existence in the digital world that choose the children to be a partner of digimon.

While in the final battle, Homeostasis saw that the only solution to defeat the dark masters and prevent a greater threat to emerge was to sacrifice Himekawa's partner. Therefore, the other chosen children used the power of their aspects to power the evolution of their partner. Then, using Himekawa's partner as a medium, they launched their attack.

The dark masters was defeated, but it costed them Himekawa's partner. She and the others then go to the village of beginning, where the digital monsters entered the rebirth stage of their cycle of death and rebirth. But... her partner was no more.

She left the group.


First Ability.
Survival knowledge: stranded in another world, the chosen children developed the ability to survive on their own. Also, as the human in digital world where a child monster could kill them, they developed the stamina and speed to run, as well as a knowhow to move and forage in the forest.
