Myrtle Island is a small tropical island inhabited by merfolk who have the ability to shapeshift into humans.
Geography
Myrtle Island is located fairly close the mainland. A single day's journey by boat is sufficient to reach the mainland (140). The Kingdom of Nostros lies to the north of Myrtle Island (185).
While Myrtle Island is fairly small, it has several landmarks. Myrtle Village is located near the ocean. Myral Mistwood is a tropical forest that lies to the east of Myrtle Village. The Abandoned Cove and the Rockpools are other locations on the Island.
History
Little has been written about the history of Myrtle Island. It is rumored that a Healing Fountain is located on the island.
Demographics
Myrtle Island is predominantly inhabited by merfolk. However, with the activity of the Reflecting Pool, many Otherworlders have been observed on the island.
Administration
Myrtle Village appears to the main political entity on the island. Gangs are also prevalent in the Abandoned Cove.
Economy
Fishing and indigenous crafts are known industries on the island.
