Quest Report
[attr="class","tabris1] | [attr="class","tabris2"]Kaine Eulus | [attr="class","tabris3"]i see faded colors awash in the rainy landscape |
[attr="class","tabrisbody"]Kaine had a splitting headache.
What was going on? The high school girl had no idea.
The ground was wet and Kaine was sitting in a puddle. It was oddly warm. It was never this warm back home in Andles, especially this early in the spring. In fact, there seemed to be sand on the ground. Sand? The nearest beach was hundreds of miles away. The last time Kaine had gone to the beach was in middle school.
Slowly, the girl rose to her feat.
...This was place was completely unfamiliar.
Where was she...?
The last thing that Kaine remembered was walking over the bridge near the children's playground... but then it was blank? There was a gap in her memory. Her head hurt.
An oddly dressed child ran up to Kaine, saying something foreign and unfamiliar.
The girl squinted a few times, but then realized she could understand what the child was saying.
"M'am, did you come through the Reflecting Pool? You should go to the Adventurer's Guild!"
Reflecting Pool. Adventurer's Guild.
Kaine had no idea what the child was talking about. However, the little kid was insistent, pulling on Kaine's hand.
Having nothing better to do, Kaine allowed herself to be pulled along. It did not take very long before they arrived at a rickety shack at the edge of the village. Honestly, Kaine thought the child was simply playing around, but a full-grown man stepped out of the lopsided shack.
"Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild," the man said.
