It's not like any of it matters now. I'm dead after all. It's someone else's problem now. I wonder where I'll end up. For what I've done, I'm surely going to hell. I hope it isn't as bad as they say it is. Is feeling wet part of the process? Hey I'm Drowning!

Orpheus moved his body upright as he rapidly gasped for air.
"I'm not dead?"
"Yes you aren't other-worlder"
Looking towards the voice, Orpheus saw a large fish man, wearing some red swimming trunks
"Where am-"
"I'm Zane and all your questions will be answered later. Follow me, I'll get you to the guild and provide you with some new clothes." Memphis quickly interrupted.
"Wai-"
"Questions LATER!" Zane angrily responded. "Try to keep up!"
*sigh*
I reluctantly chased after Zane. He moved nimbly, jumping through bushes. Contrasted by me, who could barely keep up while also tripping on pebbles and vines. It was perplexing. Something like this shouldn't have tired me. Unless...
Had I gotten weaker?
As I contemplated that thought, Zane stopped abruptly.
"We're here."
In front of me was a small wooden shack. Rather disappointing for an Adventurer's Guild if you ask me. Zane led me inside where I found a man who was happily talking to an old woman.
"Grandma Nanai , he's here."
"Thank you Zane. Hello young one, I hope Zane wasn't much trouble. He may act tough, but my grandson's got a heart of gold."
"Hmph. Granny could you please send someone else to fetch the adventurers next time? I have to go on patrol." Zane politely asked in a warm tone.
"No promises~" The grandma put her hand over her mouth to cover her snicker, which seemed to anger Zane, but he quickly got over it and left.
"So you're the new adventurer. Welcome to Myrtle Island, an island which is part of the world of Probos." The man behind the counter chimed in. "Feel free to ask us anything."
"Why do I feel weaker?", I asked.
"That's a rather bad side-effect of the Reflecting Pool. People summoned by it have their strength reverted to an average civilian. I believe it does this so that the summoning process is easier as it requires less energy.", The man lectured.
"I see."
"Most magical objects also end up getting destroyed. Oh! You might also be missing some items."
What is this pool?
"My god you're soaking wet. Go to the shack, you'll be able to take a shower and dry yourself off."
"Thank you, but where is this shack?"
"It's... Actually I'll take you. Don't want you to get lost young one." Nanai happily replied. "Come along now."
